I had a chance to scout the fishing reports provided by users over at TNBassFishing.com and EastTennesseeFishing.com and boy are the bass being yanked out of South Holston pretty. I encourage you to create a profile and explore for yourself.
So far, I’ve gathered that rig fishing is the way to go. Not many users are throwing top water or spinner baits so I’m excited to try the float n fly as well as an an arsenal of other plastic worms and jerk baits. I went fishing for some intelligence on the lake and got some feedback from some of the anglers in NE Tennessee that we’ll want to stick to green pumpkin colored floating worms or flicker shad on a shakey head rig.
